This is really sweet. You captured the delicacy of the violet really well. I'd like to take some painting classes, learn all the tricks of the trade.

As it is right now, I have watercolor paintings done by my kids in preschool that are better than I could ever do. :o

I was just at a huge used book store near the University here. They have a whole section of art books. One shelf is all about watercolor painting. I figure if I can't fit a class into my schedule, that's the next best thing.

I have a picture in mind.. one I want to paint, a copy of a photo of a sunflower taken by :iconzasu: I have her permission to do it.

I think I'll do it in my more graphic pen/colored pencil style first, as I'm more comfortable with that. Then I'm going to try to paint it.

I already have watercolor paper. I like the texture it gives when I'm coloring on it. :D
