122. An Echo from the Past

Description

It  was a freezing cold morning when I visited Daitokuji temple in Kyoto, Japan.  It had been almost a decade since I last visited there.  There wasn't anyone around except for me and there was total silence.  I looked up at the eaves from the ground and I was amazed by the beauty of the wooden slats, which receded in horizontal precision.  The building was built hundreds of years ago and the beauty captured me instantly.  I was standing there for a long time to celebrate the moment.
